Migrant Workers Cheated By Truck Driver Who Promised To Take Them Home
Eight migrant workers were cheated by a truck driver who promised to drop them at UP's Jhansi from Delhi's Azadpur but upon their arrival at Azadpur, the driver demanded Rs 1000 from each of them and said he could only drop them till Kanpur. Disappointed, they decided to march on foot toward the railway station where they thought they could board a train but were stopped by the police at Delhi university and were told that trains required online booking.
