In Madhya Pradesh's Narsinghpur, a Dalit girl committed suicide after the police refused to register her complaint against three men who allegedly gang-raped her. The victim continued to visit the police station with her family for four days to file a complaint but later committed suicide after a disappointing response from the administration. The family members allege that they continued to make rounds of the Gotitoria post and the Chichli police station to file a complaint but the police did not register an FIR. After news of the woman's suicide spread in the area, locals started expressing anger, and then the police arrested the two accused in a hurry. One of the accused is still absconding
