85,940 COVID-19 cases have been registered so far in the country with 2,752 fatalities, as per the Health Ministry. The death toll is highest in Maharashtra with 1,068 deaths, followed by Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh with 606 and 239 deaths, respectively
