Oil companies have resumed a daily revision of fuel prices following an 82-day-long break during the lockdown. The price escalation began on June 7 with a continuing hike in petrol and diesel rates for the tenth consecutive day. On Tuesday, petrol prices rose by 47 paise and diesel by 57 paise.  A litre of petrol in Delhi is being sold for Rs 76.73, while the price of one litre of diesel has risen to Rs 75.19 as of Tuesday
