Rahul: Put Money In The Hands Of The Needy, Not Loans
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday urged the Centre to revisit its Rs 20 lakh crore economic package, saying loans do not provide immediate on-ground relief for farmers and migrants. Addressing regional media via video conferencing, he said money needed to be put directly into the pockets of those who need it and are worst affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown.
