RJD MP Manoj Jha writes to the Chief Election Commissioner asking for the withdrawal of the changes made to Conduct of Election Rules 1961 which will allow the use of postal ballots by those above 65 years of age and those with COVID-19 infection or symptoms. Jha said that the move will compromise on the election process and such changes should be made only after building broad consensus among all stakeholders. Congress, TMC, CPI, and CPM have also opposed the move. Anjali Ojha reports
