The Supreme Court has once again extended the deadline for completion of hearing and pronouncing the judgment in the Babri Masjid demolition case till September 30. The Special Court of CBI has to complete the hearing and give its verdict by then. This is the fourth time the deadline has been extended to complete the trial in the case. Last time in May, the Supreme Court set August 31 as deadline. The case is being heard by CBI special court judge Surendra Kumar Yadav, in which high-profile leaders of BJP like LK Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharti are accused. On September 30, it will be decided whether the special court punishes them or all the accused are acquitted.
