Cousin siblings from rival parties Priyanka Gandhi Vadra (Congress) And Varun Gandhi (BJP) have written letters to #PMModi after his "surprise decision" to repeal the three #farminglaws after over a year of farmers' protests against them.

#PriyankaGandhi reiterated her sance on The #LakhimpurKheri killing of four farmers which she has termed as a "farmer's genocide" and demanded that #Modi not share the stage with #AjayMishra today in Lucknow, as it would signal to the deceased's families that justice will not be done.

Varun Gandhi has also said that the "provocative" comments made by senior party leaders (of #BJP ) led to the hostile climate against the farmers which caused incidents like #LakhimpurKheri. He asked for compensation for 700 "innocent farmers" who died in the course of the protests.
