UP: Floods Affect More Than 800 Villages In 20 Districts

Due to heavy rains and release of water from dams, more than 800 villages in 20 districts have been hit by floods in Uttar Pradesh. According to Relief Commissioner Sanjay Goyal 802 villages are affected by floods. Of these, 428 villages have been completely cut off from other areas. According to a report, the Sharda river in Lakhimpur Kheri is flowing above the danger mark. Similarly, the Rapti river in Gorakhpur, Ghaghra river has crossed the danger mark in Barabanki, Ayodhya and Balliya.
