Violence Against Women A Shadow Pandemic Amid Lockdown: UN Women
As billions stay indoors amid lockdown, violence against women has risen in the past few weeks and is being called a 'shadow pandemic' by UN Women. On normal days, only 10% women go to the Police to lodge a complaint against the perpetrator, as per the UN body. Anjali Ojha reports
