The Winter Olympics 2022 is scheduled to be held in Beijing, the capital of China, in February 2022. Preparations are on in full swing to make the event a grand success, at least as seen in the footage of venues being prepared for the sporting extravaganza.

The award venues are presently under construction, and the swanky stadiums and indoor facilities are coming up at a rapid pace. The venue, in downtown Beijing’s Olympic Park, will combine multiple elements and functions, such as a stage for performances, lighting, and fireworks. Winners of up to 52 different events during the Winter Olympics will be awarded here.

Beijing is one of the three competition zones for the 2022 Winte Olympics, with two others in Zhijiazhuang and Yanqing. This is the second time that Beijing will be hosting an Olympics competition, with the Summer Olympics being held there in 2008.
