Prithvi Shaw Suspended Over Doping Violation
BCCI suspends young Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw for eight months after he failed a dope test. Shaw accepted the BCCI charge and explained the substance's consumption by saying that it was present in an over-the-counter cough syrup that he purchased to treat a Respiratory Tract Infection.
