Bengaluru hosted the IPL Mega Auction 2022 from February 12 to February 13. The 10 IPL clubs paid over Rs 551 crore on 204 players, including 67 overseas cricketers, during the auction.

Ishan Kishan, the wicketkeeper-batsman, was the most expensive player sold at the end of the two-day auction. During Day 1, Mumbai Indians paid Rs 15.25 crore for Ishan Kishan.
