The Mysore Multi Class Youth Championship will be organized from 27 August to 2 September 2021 as the Krishnaraja                 Sagar Dam near Mysuru. It will be organized at the Trishna Yacht Club that is administered by Madras Engineer Group & Center and General Thimayya National Academy of Adventure.

The competition will be held under he aegis of Yachting Association of India, the governing body for sailing, windsurfing, motorboating, powerboat racing, and personal watercraft in India. It is recognized by the Indian Olympic Association and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The Mysore Multi Class Sailing Championship is a national-level ranking event. It will draw 12 clubs with over 150 athletes, coaches, and staff. It is the first iteration of this event and it is planned that it will be held annually from now.

The YAI has organized 5 ranking events so far in January, April, June, and August this year. In July, the association announced that the Bhopal Multi Class Championship event had been postponed due to Covid 19.
