Virat Kohli, the former captain of Team India, expressed a heartfelt tribute to Shane Warne, who unfortunately died on Friday at the age of 52.

While on vacation in Thailand, the spin maestro died of a suspected heart attack. The cricketing community has expressed its sorrow and grief over the untimely death of the Australian superstar, with Kohli noting that life is "unpredictable and fickle" in his tribute.

Last night, we received the tragic news of Shane Warne's death. To be honest, it came out of nowhere. We go on with our lives, believing that everything revolves around us; the present moment, all of our problems and misfortunes, as well as the things we anticipate.

But we rapidly learn that life is incredibly unexpected and fickle," Kohli remarked in a video released by the BCCI on its social media networks.

Warne, largely credited with revolutionising leg-spin bowling, finished his illustrious international career with 708 wickets in 145 Tests.
