Facebook has once again been accused of spying on Instagram users, this time through the unauthorized use of their mobile phone cameras. An Instagram user Brittany Conditi from New Jersey filed a lawsuit on Thursday in a federal court in San Francisco against the social media giant accusing Facebook of harvesting “lucrative and valuable data on its users that it would not otherwise have access to”. The lawsuit comes after media reports in July accused Instagram of spying on iPhone users through their cameras. Facebook denied the allegations and blamed a bug for the grave privacy issue.
