Security Forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday killed an unidentified terrorist. Though another terrorist escaped, he was arrested in Pulwama later.
A police official said, “The forces had launched a cordon-and-search operation in the Mochuwa area of Budgam, following inputs about the presence of ultras there.”
The official added that one terrorist was killed in the encounter and an AK assault rifle and a pistol were recovered from him.
Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said that the terrorist who had escaped from the encounter was arrested from the Khrew area of Pulwama district.
