The Indian Premier League is going on in the UAE and betting on it is also at its peak. Based on the input of betting on IPL matches, Kolkata Police conducted raids in several areas of the state.
During this, 17 mobile phones, 14 laptops, three TVs, a car, and Rs 1.5 lakh in cash were seized. Along with this, a case has been registered against 9 people under IPC and West Bengal Gambling and Prize Competition Act.
