Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi on Thursday attacked the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) saying, instead of listening to voices of the farmers, the BJP government is using water cannons to disperse them in cold water.
"Instead of listening to the voice of the farmers who are protesting against the laws, that snatched the support price from them, the BJP government uses water cannon to disperse them in cold weather. Everything is being taken away from the farmers while the capitalists are being given banks, airport, railway stations and loan waiver," the Congress leader tweeted.

The Haryana Police used water cannons to disperse the protesting farmers gathered at Shambhu-Ambala border in a bid to prevent them from proceeding to Delhi to stage a demonstration against the farm legislation.
Arvind Kejriwal showed support for the farmers, saying the peaceful demonstration was a constitutional right of the farmers.
He tweeted,” "All the three farming bills of the central government are anti-farmer. Instead of withdrawing them, farmers are being prevented from holding peaceful demonstrations, water canons are being used on them. This is absolutely wrong. Peaceful demonstrations are their constitutional right."
केंद्र सरकार के तीनों खेती बिल किसान विरोधी हैं। ये बिल वापिस लेने की बजाय किसानों को शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन करने से रोका जा रहा है, उन पर वॉटर कैनन चलाई जा रही हैं। किसानों पर ये जुर्म बिलकुल ग़लत है। शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन उनका संवैधानिक अधिकार है।
