In the last 24 hours, 46,791 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in India while 587 people succumbed to the virus.
Meanwhile, India's caseload has crossed 75 lakh mark to reach 75,97,064, including 7,48,538 active cases and 1,15,197 deaths.
Across the globe, the number of corona infected has reached 4,06,57,071 and the death toll has touched 11,23,112.
