Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Govt is under heavy fire after the death of Hathras gang-rape victim. Moreover, the UP police did not hand over the victim's body to her family and cremated the victim at midnight, allegedly without informing the family.
The Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath has broken the silence on the gruesome incident and said, "Culprits of Hathras gangrape incident will not be spared. An SIT has been formed to investigate the incident, the team will submit a report within the next 7 days. To ensure swift justice, this case will be tried in a fast-track court."
The Hathras police forced the gang-rape victim's funeral in the middle of the night. All opposition parties, including the Congress, have called the police action as inhuman and unjust.
