The Shivraj Singh Government in MP has proposed a new system under which "any women living outside their parental homes for work register themselves with the police so that they can be tracked for their own safety."
About 35 women activists including Anjali Bhardwaj, Shabnam Hashmi, Maimoona Mollah and Poonam Kaushik were detained by the Delhi Police for protesting against the Madhya Pradesh government's controversial proposal of surveillance of working women, calling it an 'assault on women's freedom'. They were picked up from outside MP Bhawan and taken to Mandir Marg police station.

Later, they were released.
Finally released I guess they had to make space for a bus load of farmers who were protesting and were brought in as they allowed ua to move out of the police station .
