Farm Laws Protests: Shah Advises Khattar To Avoid Holding Pro-Farm Law Events After Karnal Incident

Home Minister Amit Shah has advised Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to refrain from holding any pro-farm laws events after the Karnal incident. Haryana Education Minister Kanwal Pal Gurjar told the media that the Home Minister has advised avoiding such programs after the Karnal incident. Amit Shah has said that the conflict with the farmers should not be escalated further. The Home Minister has advised postponing these programs till further notice.

During this, the Education Minister also took a shot on protesting farmers and said that before the Chief Minister's program, the entire state witnessed the behavior of the farmers. 

CM Manohar Lal Khattar was to perform a program in Karnal, Haryana on Sunday. In this program named Kisan Panchayat, he had to meet the farmers and tell the farmers the advantages of agricultural laws. However, the farmers did not allow this to happen. Crowds of farmers dug the land of the CM's helipad, due to which Khattar could not get off the helicopter and had to cancel the program.

Khattar had also reacted to the incident and held the opposition responsible for it.
