Former President Pranab Mukherjee has undergone brain surgery at an Army hospital in Delhi. His condition remains critical after surgery and he is placed on ventilator support. 85-year-old Pranab Mukherjee has undergone the surgery due to blood clotting in his brain.
He is currently admitted to the Army's Research and Referral or R&R Hospital. Earlier, the former President had tweeted and informed himself about getting infected with the novel Coronavirus. President Ram Nath Kovind and other Union ministers have wished him a quick recovery.
