In Response To The US Strikes, Taliban Target Provincial Afghan Cities

As per three terrorist commanders, Taliban terrorists have switched strategy from targeting rural areas of Afghanistan to attacking provincial cities. This comes after the the increased U.S. air strikes after the United States said it was gong to end its longest war.

The fighting has been heavy inside the city of Herat, near the western border with Iran, Lashkar Gah, capital of Helmand province in the southeast, and Kandahar in the south.

The three Taliban commanders said that they were focused on capturing Herat and Kandahar, with Lashkar Gah also being in their sights.
