India on Friday administered over 1 crore doses, achieving a new milestone in its COVID vaccination drive, its highest single-day count so far.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the people on Twitter for making the immunisation exercise a success.
He tweeted, “Record vaccination numbers today! Crossing 1 crore is a momentous feat. Kudos to those getting vaccinated and those making the vaccination drive a success.”

As per the data on the CoWIN portal, 1,02,06,475 vaccine doses had been administered on Friday.
