'India Will Win Against Coronavirus If 10 States Defeat It' PM Modi To State CMs During Virtual Meet

'India will win against coronavirus if 10 states defeat it,' said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday during his virtual meet with the Chief Ministers of ten states to take stock of the coronavirus epidemic. Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Punjab, Bihar, Gujarat, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh were present in the meet.

Prime Minister Modi said, ‘The testing numbers have reached 7 lakhs and is constantly increasing every day. This is helping to identify and prevent infection that we are seeing today. Even before, India’s average death rate was much lower than in the world; it is a matter of satisfaction that it is constantly decreasing.’
