Paralympian Shooter Seeks Urgent Hearing From Supreme Court On Non-Selection

Naresh Kumar Sharma, who is a five-time Paralympian shooter on Monday sought urgent hearing from the Supreme Court over his plea of non-selection in the upcoming Tokyo Paralympics games.

The bench which was headed by Chief Justice N V Ramana and Justice Surya Kant took note of the submissions that were put forward by senior advocate Vikas Singh, who appeared for the shooter. The advocate said that the delay in hearing before the Delhi High Court would render his plea seeking inclusion in the Indian team for the Paralympic games would become pointless.

The Paralympian shooter has challenged the order of the Delhi High Court that had posted his plea relating to his non-inclusion for hearing on August 6.
