The Taliban on Saturday, captured Sheberghan city in Jawzjan. This is the second Afgna provincial capital to fall to Taliban in less than 24 hours.
Jawzjan deputy governor, Qader Malia said, “The government forces and officials have retreated to the Airport.”
The first provincial capital to be taken by Taliban was Zaranj city in Nimroz, which was captured on Friday.
