Dr K Sudhakar, the Karnataka Health Minister said on Wednesday that the teachers of government and private schools would be vaccinated so that children don’t get infected through facility when the schools re-open.
Dr K Sudhakar said, “The corona vaccine will be given on a priority basis to teachers and non-teaching staff of all government, aided and unaided private schools in the State for the early re-opening of schools keeping the future of children in mind.”
The government intensified the vaccination for adults so that the infection does not pass on to the young, if and when the third wave comes.
