On Sunday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan declared the film "The Kashmir Files" tax-free in the state.
Chouhan made the announcement today via Twitter. "Movie, The Kashmir Files is a heart-wrenching narrative of the grief, suffering, struggle, and trauma experienced by Kashmiri Hindus in the 1990s," he posted on Twitter.
We've chosen to make it tax-free in Madhya Pradesh because it needs to be seen by as many people as possible."
Previously, the Haryana government declared the film tax-free on Friday, and the Gujarat government declared it tax-free on Sunday.
On March 11, the film starring Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty was released. Vivek Agnihotri directed the film, which is about the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990.
