NZ's Tim Southee Named Replacement For Pat Cummins By KKR For IPL 2021

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Thursday named Kiwi pacer Tim Southee as replacement for Pat Cummins for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season.

Ahead of the resumptions of the IPL 2021 in the UAE, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have also announced replacements in their respective squads for the remainder of the season.

RCB brought in Si Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga as a replacement for Australia’s Adam Zampa. Their other replacements are Dushmantha Chamber for Daniel Sams, George Garton for Kane Richardson and Tim David for Finn Allen.

RR has brought in New Zealand wicketkeeper-batsman Glenn Phillips for England’s Jofra Archer and South Africa’s Tabriz Shamsi for Andrew Tye.

PBKS has signed Australian fast bowler Nathan Ellis for Riley Meredith and England leg-spinner Adil Rashid for Jhye Richardson.
