UP Government To Name Roads In 6 Districts After Kalyan Singh

The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday announced that one road each in six districts would be named after former chief minister Kalyan Singh. These districts also include Lucknow and Ayodhya.

The Public Works Department (PWD) said that it will prepare a proposal for this.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “One PWD main road each in Ayodhya, Lucknow, Aligarh, Etah, Bulandshahr and Prayagraj will be named after Kalyan Singh.”

Kalyan Singh died on Saturday night, aged 89 at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI).
