US: Eight Hurt After Man Goes On A Shooting Spree In Wisconsin, Still 'At Large'

Eight people were hurt in a mass shooting incident inside a mall in Wisconsin, US. According to the police, the incident took place on Friday afternoon, and the shooter is still 'at large'. The shooting took place at the Metfair Mall in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin state.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office have tweeted that their officers were at the scene supporting local police action. The Wauwatosa police said in a statement that as soon as the police emergency service personnel reached there, the shooter went missing.

The statement said that seven of the injured are young while one is a teenager. All have been admitted to the hospital. Although the condition of all the injured has not been ascertained yet, the Mayor of Wauwatosa Danish McBride told ABC News that the condition of any of the injured is not worrying or fatal.

Police have identified the shooter as a white youth aged between 20-30. A video of the incident is going viral on social media, according to which, many employees of the mall took shelter inside the building during the shootout. Jill Woley, a female shopkeeper of the mall, told a local news channel that she was inside with her 79-year-old mother when the shooting took place.
