“So Far 12 States Have No Deaths Due To Lack Of Oxygen”: Health Ministry Sources

As per the Health Ministry sources, 12 states have reported no deaths due to lack of oxygen during the second wave of COVID-19. A week ago, the centre had asked states and UTs to collect and submit information on the issue.

Thirteen states have submitted this data so far, out of which Punjab has marked four deaths as “suspicious”.

The 12 states that have not reported any death due to lack of oxygen are Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Nagaland, Assam, Sikkim, Tripura, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The Union territories of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir also didn’t report any death due to lack of oxygen.
