Mumbai Police has summoned film director Anurag Kashyap in an alleged sexual harassment case. The police have asked the Bollywood director to appear at the Versova police station on Thursday morning.

Actress Payal Ghosh has alleged that Anurag Kashyap sexually abused her in 2013. She also claimed that Anurag Kashyap raped her on Yari Road in Versova. Over this, she lodged an FIR at the Versova Police Station on Tuesday night.
Payal Ghosh has registered cases under sections 376 (1), 354, 341, 342 of IPC for misdemeanor, wrongful restraint, wrongful offense and abusive offenses.
