Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that the vaccination and ration distribution centers set up in schools in the national capital would still be operational even after they reopen for classes 9 to 12 from September 1.
Following improvement in the COVID-19 situation in the national capital, the Delhi government on Friday announced the opening of schools for classes 9 to 12, colleges and coaching institutions from September 1.
Mr Arvind Kejriwal said, “There are plenty of classrooms and no dearth of space. Vaccination and ration distribution will continue in schools where it is underway. Since students of only four classes are being called in the first phase, space will not be a major issue. The vaccination area will be kept separate from where students are allowed.”
