On Friday, Stalin met with Abudulla Bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE's Minister of Economy, and Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE's Minister of State for Foreign Trade. According to a press release, he asked them to visit Tamil Nadu and send investors to the state.
Stalin spoke with Yusuff Ali, the CEO of the Lulu Group, and also kicked off the Tamil Nadu Week at the Indian Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2022.
According to an invitation to the event from Guidance Tamil Nadu, the state has the most factories in India, has drawn over $50 billion in investments through industrial MoUs since 2019, has over 130 global Fortune 500 businesses, and is India's number one state for industrial land availability.
The Chief Minister is expected to meet Khaled AI Qubaisi, Mubadala's CEO of real estate and infrastructure investments, and Abdulla Mohammed AI Mazroeui, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, the Federation of UAE Chambers, and the Arab Chamber, in Abu Dhabi.
