Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the COVID-19 situation in the national capital is in control as Delhi continues to register low COVID-19 cases.
The Health Minister said, “The COVID-19 situation is under control in Delhi. The positivity rate in the national capital is 0.4 percent. The government has decided to establish more than 6,800 ICU beds in seven hospitals within six months.”
According to a heath bulletin, Delhi on Sunday reported 31 new COIVD-19 cases with zero deaths being logged for the fourth consecutive day.
Due to the continuous dip in the COVID-19 cases, the Delhi government decided to open schools in a phased manner from September 1.
