Delhi Court: NSE Ex-MD Chitra Ramkrishna Sent To 14 Days Judicial Custody

In connection with the co-location scam case, a Delhi court on Monday ordered Chitra Ramkrishna, the former managing director and chief executive officer of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), to be held in judicial custody for 14 days.

Ramakrishna will be physically produced before the court on March 28th, according to Special Judge Sanjeev Aggarwal.

After the accused's seven-day detention period expired, the CBI brought her before the court and sought it to remand her in judicial custody.

Ramkrishna's defence lawyer requested home-cooked food during his judicial detention, but the court responded that the food in judicial custody is as good.

According to Bar and Bench, the judge stated, "I have had the food numerous times." Permission for a prayer book and a mask was also requested, but the judge denied her request because she is not a VIP. "VIP detainees demand everything.

Then each and every rule should be altered. Every single inmate is the same. "She isn't a celebrity," the judge stated.

The CBI appeared in court today to present Chitra, who was allegedly influenced by a Himalayan yogi to nominate Anand Subramanian as the NSE's group operating officer.

The Himalayan Yogi case is distinct from the co-location case, but both involve the same characters.

Her seven-day detention period had ended today. Ramkrishna was apprehended by the investigation agency on March 6, a day after the court denied her anticipatory release motion.
