The Enforcement Directorate has attached a posh apartment of jailed Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor worth Rs 127 crore in London in connection with a money laundering involving probe against him and others.

The apartment in London's 77 South Audley Street has a market value of 13.5 million pounds in the UK, (about Rs 127 crore). Mr Kapoor bought the property in 2017 for 9.9 million pounds (Rs 93 crore) in the name of Doit Creations Jersey Ltd and he is the beneficial owner, the ED said in a statement.

However, the ED citing a reliable source said that Kapoor was trying to alienate this property and has also hired a reputed property consultant.
