One farmer has died during the protests at Haryana’s Singhu border called by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha. Police suspects that the death has been caused by a cardiac arrest. Further information will be available once the post-mortem is completed, police stated.
The farmers had called for a Bharat Bandh (India Closed) from 6 AM to 4 PM today, September 27th 2021. Train services in Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab were affected by the stir, and it also caused a significantly long traffic snarl at the Delhi-Gurugram border.
