Farmers’ March On Nov 26: Delhi Borders To Be Sealed; Permission Denied To Protest At Jantar Mantar

As farmers gear up for ‘Delhi Chalo’ march, the Haryana Government has sealed borders with the capital Delhi. The protest march has been called by over 500 farm organisations in protest against the contentious farm legislation.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar declared that the “state will take every step required to maintain law and order”.

The Haryana Police has planned additional deployment and multi-layers barricading on highways leading in and out of state.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Government has denied permission to farmers to protest at either the Ram Leela Ground or at Jantar Mantar.
