Bihar, Gujarat and Haryana Set To Open Schools and Colleges

As the country sees a dip in COVID-19 cases, Gujarat, Bihar, and Haryana are set to open schools and colleges for the students.

The Haryana government announced on Friday that the government and private schools will reopen for classes 9 to 12 from July 16. This is subject to a written permission from the parents that they are allowing their children to attend offline classes.

The Gujarat government also decided to open educational institutions from July 15 while the Bihar government is also taking necessary steps to start offline classes.

It is not compulsory to attend offline classes as the option of online classes are also given to students who are unwilling to attend classes physically. As for the physical classes, only 50% attendance is allowed on campus. No decision has been taken yet on the physical classes for primary class students in any states.
