Sunday 25th April 2021 was the worst day in the second surge of Corona virus nationally.
The positivity rate reached more than 25% meaning every 1 person among 4 being tested returned positive Corona infection. Some states like Delhi had more than 30% positive rate.
On the other hand vaccination drive sputtered as health system was struggling with rising casualties. Less than a million people were vaccinated on Sunday. Lowest in the month of April and less than one fourth than the peak of vaccination on 2nd of April.
