IPL 2022 Match Preview: RCB All Set To Face Punjab Kings In DY Patil Stadium

Punjab Kings will play Royal Challengers Bangalore in the third match of the Tata IPL 2022 on March 27th at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.

This game is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. IST and will be broadcast live on Star Sports Network.

Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face off in the third match of the TATA IPL 2022. These two teams are still looking for their first IPL title.

Last season, the Royal Challengers Bangalore made it to the Eliminator, but were defeated by the Kolkata Knight Riders. Punjab Kings, on the other side, finished last season in sixth place on the points table.

Both sides have assembled whole new squads, led by new captains. The Royal Challengers Bangalore team will be led by Faf du Plessis, while the Punjab Kings will be led by Mayank Agarwal.

Virat Kohli will continue to play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. With Siraj, Hazlewood, and Harshal Patel, Bangalore's bowling appears to be more potent.

Apart from Mayank, Punjab's batting attack appears to be strong, with the participation of Dhawan, Bairstow, and Livingstone. Apart from Rabada and Odean, their bowling staff is heavily reliant on Indian bowlers.

In the history of the IPL, both teams have met a total of 28 times, with Punjab Kings holding a 15-13 eye advantage.
