Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi Government has turned down the Delhi Police’s request to convert nine stadiums into temporary prisons for farmers marching to Delhi, saying the farmers’ protests are justified.
Rejecting the cops’ request, State Home Minister Satyendar Jain said, “The farmers’ demands are justified. The Centre should immediately accept the demands put forth by the farmers. The farmers’ agitation is entirely peaceful.”
