The hearing in the loan moratorium case in the Supreme Court has been postponed. The central government sought more time to come with a plan, after which the Supreme Court has postponed the hearing till 5 October.

The Centre told the court on Monday that its decision is in an advanced stage. They need some more time to get the details before the court. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that some things are "beyond his control". The Centre has appointed an expert panel to suggest solutions for the problem.

In the last hearing, the Supreme Court had told the Centre that they come to court with some concrete plans for different areas. The Supreme Court said that the case is being deferred again and again. Now, this matter is being deferred only once, for the final hearing, during this time everyone should file their answer and come to court with a concrete plan in the case.
