US President Donald Trump paid no taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years, and paid a meager $750 in federal income taxes during the year he won Presidency, claims one of the US' leading newspapers, New York Times, in its explosive investigative report. According to the report, in his first year as president, he paid another $750 as taxes.
POTUS Donald Trump has been secretive about his financial transactions since the start of his Presidency. According to the New York Times, Trump showed his company mostly at loss, which he did to avoid taxes. Trump is the first US President to not make his tax return public since 1970.
