CBI Books Firm Which Took Rs 25 crore Loan From PNB On Fake Documents

CBI’s anti-corruption branch of Lucknow filed FIR against the owners of two private firms for defrauding Punjab National Bank (PNB) of Rs 25cr by submitting fake financial documentation. The case was filed on the complaint  by Shyam Narayan Pandey, assistant general manager of PNB.


The FIR which was filed stated Hind Concrete Products Pvt.Ltd. had submitted an application for cash credit loan proposal of Rs 25cr which was also signed by their owner, Hani Abbas. The loan was then sanctioned but later an independent audit found several discrepancies in that firm. The firm took a sum total amount of Rs. 25.63cr only to misuse the public money by diverting the funds. The company also concealed the material information and produced false balance sheets.

Following the allegation and FIR was lodged under the charges of dishonesty and prevention of corruption Act against Hind Concrete Products and its owner Hani Abbas, Wasif Abbas , Tanveer Ahmad, Shakeel Haider and also other people which were involved in this whole scam.
